Posti is starting cooperation negotiations for Freight business administration, sales and supervisor positions on July 1, 2019.
The company is now looking for increased efficiency to improve the competitiveness and profitability of its freight business.
According to a preliminary estimate, the personnel reduction need is a maximum of 30 permanent employees. Posti’s freight business employs approximately 1,300 people. The negotiations or change will have no effect on services offered by Posti.
Posti needs to cut costs by at least EUR 150–200 million over the next three years. These cost savings are required due to the dramatic fall in mail volumes alone.
